LME: Law of Modernization of the Economy. compliance with the law on payment terms: The new payment terms provided by the LME (45 days net or 30 days end of month) apply to the sector of abrasives. SNAS and FIM-AC have not signed a derogation to the law.
Competition law: The members of the SNAS have signed an ethical charter by which the union and its members undertake to respect the European law of competition.
REACH: Conventional abrasive products (agglomerates, coatings and superabrasives) are articles without substance rejection. The abrasives in grains, powder or pasta are treated on a case by case basis. Agglomerated, coated and superabrasive abrasive products are not subject to registration under REACH.
