Today, the companies he represents are more than ever confronted with the challenge of security. With this in mind, the SNAS works daily for greater demands in this area, without losing sight of the fact that all equipment is subject to the constraints of its environment of use and that nothing can completely replace the vigilance of men.
SNAS participates upstream in the preparation of European safety standards (EN Standards) within the national (UNM-AFNOR) and international (CEN - ISO - FEPA) committees. It also ensures compliance with these standards with government departments (DGCCRF - Customs).
Finally, sustainable development, with its environmental, social and economic implications, is the other major challenge facing the profession. The role of SNAS is to support its members on a daily basis, to inform them, in order to create conditions for environmentally friendly development.
